All mosques in Gaza have been destroyed. Rebuilding a mosque requires extensive time and resources that are not currently available.
In the north, we are instead working urgently to build a musallah attached to a destroyed mosque—a simple, dignified prayer space that can be completed quickly and used this Ramadan.
This musallah is not a replacement for a mosque. It is a necessary, immediate response—a place where the community can gather for daily prayers, Taraweeh, and remembrance during the blessed month.
In the midst of devastation, this space will:

With your support, this Ramadan can include a place for sujood, patience, and hope, by the mercy of Allah.

All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, and may peace and blessings be upon the leader of the messengers, our master Muhammad, who was sent as a mercy to all of humanity.
Allah تعالى says in His Book: “Indeed, the mosques of Allah are maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day.
” Today, Tuesday الموافق January 27, 2026, we begin—by the will of Allah تعالى—the renovation and re-establishment of the prayer space (musallā) of Al-Hadi Mosque.
We ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to accept from us and from you our righteous deeds.
We encourage our brothers who have contributed to the construction of this mosque to continue supporting us until the completion of this mosque, in shā’ Allah تعالى.
And we ask Allah سبحانه وتعالى to grant reward to us and to them.

In the name of Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
In the name of Allah and with His blessing.
Dear beloved brothers, and everyone watching this report: through the generous and noble donations of Muslims in America, we have been able to establish here a prayer space (musalla) for Masjid Al-Mahdi. This prayer space, constructed from metal frames and tarpaulins, was assembled through the generous support of Muslims in America.
This noble and generous donation will allow hundreds of worshippers to pray in this mosque, after the Israeli forces destroyed the mosque that once stood next to this site. This great humanitarian, faith-based, and devotional effort demonstrates our steadfastness. In this mosque, the Qur’an will be recited, children will learn how to pray, and soon—during Ramadan and after Ramadan—rows of worshippers will line up here to perform the five daily prayers and the Taraweeh prayers.
We ask Allah Almighty to protect our Ummah and to reward the donors on our behalf and on behalf of the worshippers with the best of rewards. Allah the Exalted says:
“The mosques of Allah are only maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day.”
And the Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever builds a mosque for Allah in this world, even like the nest of a bird, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”
Dear brothers and sisters, for this prayer space we ask Allah—by His most beautiful Names and His exalted Attributes—to grant us entrance into the Gardens of Bliss without prior punishment, and to reward you on our behalf and on behalf of the worshippers with the best of rewards. May you have a share in our prayers, in the teaching of the Qur’an, and in every recitation that takes place in this mosque.
By Allah’s permission, this mosque will host tens—indeed hundreds—of worshippers daily. You will have, after Allah, the credit for this construction. We have reached this stage through your donations, charity, and zakat. This wonderful and great effort is something you are to be thanked for, by Allah’s permission.
We ask for your continued support so that we may complete this structure and fully equip it—including roofing and all remaining facilities, as well as the mosque’s restrooms. We have reached a very advanced stage, and all of this work is by the grace of Allah first, and then through your efforts and generosity.
Thank you. May Allah bless you and reward you on our behalf and on behalf of the people of this area with the best of rewards.
February 4, 2026.
Peace and blessings be upon you.
“Alhamdulillah, by the permission of Allah this musallah is now fully funded. May He place barakah in every contribution.”
